Mohammédia remains at the mercy of floods

The flood protection system for Mohammedia has certainly proven its effectiveness, but it remains the case that the city is not totally safe from the flooding of the Oued Maleh. This observation is ultimately the conclusion of a study on the protection of the city of Mohammedia against floods, which was presented during a meeting held in the presence of Ms. Charafat Afilal, Minister Delegate in charge of Water, and the governor of the prefecture, Ali Salem Cheggaf, as well as officials from the National Office of Electricity and Drinking Water and the Bouregreg and Chaouia Hydraulic Basin Agency.
