The first half of the year marked by the questioning of 22,338 individuals

The actions carried out by the prefectural police aim to deter delinquents and other criminals in order to reduce the phenomenon of insecurity, the objective being to ensure respect for the law, the preservation of order, and the peace of mind of citizens. In this perspective, from 1 to 30 June 2014, the actions of the prefectural police elements led to the questioning of 22,338 people and the processing of 2,785 cases. At the same time, 2,895 people were arrested and brought to justice. Similarly, 49 fraud cases and 393 cases involving theft and burglary were resolved. As for the criminal cases settled, their number is 2,785, with drug-related cases numbering around 435. Regarding vehicle and moped checks, operations have multiplied, leading to the issuing of 5,748 tickets for vehicles and 1,398 for mopeds.
