A sub-Saharan was arrested by elements of the judicial police of the Mohammedia district for having put a dreamer of Eldorado in his basket, we learn from a police source.

The same source specified that a complaint had been filed with the El Kasba district by the victim. This complaint stated that this young unemployed man was met by the sub-Saharan who promised to help him emigrate to Paris, France, via Hong Kong. The victim added, still according to the same police source, that the sub-Saharan had demanded an advance of eight thousand dirhams.

By managing here and there, our unemployed man managed to gather the requested sum to hand it over to the sub-Saharan who did not keep his promise. Still according to the same police source, the complainant recovered half of the sum paid after threatening the sub-Saharan to file a complaint against him.

Arrested, the sub-Saharan confessed to his crime of fraud against the young unemployed man while specifying that he had fleeced several other victims by promising to help them emigrate to Europe and especially France. The swindler was brought before the correctional chamber at the court of first instance.
