- The eternal problem of street vendors is linked to the unsuitable locations of the markets, often located far from the built-up areas.
- The lack of support and follow-up in the realisation of their projects is also a factor that encourages the informal sector.

The management of public affairs can only be conceived sustainably if urban spaces are well managed. The absence of a prospective vision and an urban space planning scheme is at the origin of the eternal problem of the illegal occupation of the public domain. The muscular raids by the police services, to which the inhabitants have become accustomed, have not had the expected effect and have not dissuaded street vendors, who are increasingly numerous, from occupying without fear various axes, spaces, and squares of the city.
