Convention for the construction of the grand mosque

A tripartite partnership agreement was recently signed between the Mohammedia prefecture, represented by the governor Fouzia Mansar, the municipal council, represented by its president M'Fadel Mohamed, and the Roukia Foundation, represented by Jawad Youssfi, for the construction of the future grand mosque of the seaside city.Located near the Twin Cities Park and the prefecture headquarters, this religious building will cover an area of 5,200 m2. The interior prayer hall of this place of worship will have a capacity for 2,600 men and 1,200 women.The esplanade will be able to accommodate nearly 2,500 additional worshippers under the shade of the trees that will be planted on site. The mosque will be equipped with the necessary facilities and amenities to allow the faithful to perform their prayers in the best possible conditions.
