"Amaras", the Moroccan Association for Social Renaissance, continues its partnership work with the aim of structuring social action. The association, in fact, organised as part of its activities a conference on the theme "development and partnership between civil society and state institutions". The objective is to promote the implementation of real and active solidarity for better management of social interest.

It is time for all components of civil society to be involved, particularly young people, associations, and state institutions for better social growth and a balance between economic expansion and human development. The essential thing for the "Amaras" association is to create synergy and allow young people to participate alongside other components of society in the development process, through reflection, participation, and mobilisation. The speakers, who were associative, political, social, and economic actors, generally stressed that this conference was an opportunity to take stock of achievements in the field of associative work and to make a diagnosis of dysfunctions related to the management and development of the integrated social work programme. Emphasis was placed on this occasion on the importance of partnership from a socio-economic development perspective.

It is a real undertaking that requires the participation of everyone, with a commitment to global and sustainable social development. The government's policy within the framework of the development of associative work was highlighted. The provisions of the new Constitution specify that it is the responsibility of public authorities (Article 33) to "take appropriate measures with a view to extending and generalising the participation of young people in the social, economic, cultural, and political development of the country".

The role of associations, the speakers specified, is essential for the establishment of effective mechanisms for sustainable development. The integration of young people into the development process will provide support for the realisation of development projects likely to contribute to a real social renaissance.

The promotion of associative work and the optimisation of efforts through partnership are the key to success.
