Resumption of family visits
Resumption of the family visit exchange operation to and from the southern provinces of the Kingdom. This trip, carried out on Wednesday to and from the cities of Dakhla and Aousserd, benefited 191 people belonging to 42 families.
The operation for the exchange of family visits between the Tindouf camps, on Algerian territory, and the southern provinces of the Kingdom, supervised by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), was resumed on Wednesday. According to a press release from the Moroccan Coordination Office with MINURSO, received by MAP, this trip, carried out on Wednesday to and from the cities of Dakhla and Aousserd and which was scheduled for last August, benefited 191 people belonging to 42 families. Thus, 48 people from the provinces of Oued Eddahab and Aousserd, belonging to 12 families, left Dakhla airport for Tindouf, the press release indicates, adding that 143 people from 30 families arrived on the same plane, coming from the Tindouf camps.
