Temporary interruption of traffic on Regional Road 401 in Khemis Anjra due to flood damage - Youm 24

The Ministry of Equipment and Water announced a temporary closure of traffic on Regional Road No. 401, connecting National Road No. 2 and National Road No. 16 via the Khemis Anjra center, for a period of four days starting today, Friday, October 2, 2026.
This interruption concerns the section extending between the junction of Provincial Road No. 4703 and Regional Road No. 401 in the "Puente" area and the Khemis Anjra center, where work will be carried out to repair the damage caused by the floods and the resulting landslides that threaten the safety of road users.
The Ministry explained that road users can adopt an alternative route via National Road No. 2 connecting Tangier and Tetouan, before continuing the journey via Provincial Road No. 4613, until the completion of the work.
