Making the city of Rabat cleaner. It is to achieve this objective that the Agdal Ryad District Council has decided to develop an awareness campaign in partnership with all stakeholders in the sector, namely the local authority, the services of the District Council, the administrative police services, as well as the delegated company. This programme will concern the Agdal, Orangers, Al Irfane, and Riyad districts in a participatory approach for the eradication of black spots linked to domestic waste. It goes without saying that the success of such a campaign remains dependent on the involvement of business operators and residents.

On November 14, the first operation of this awareness campaign started in the Al Ahbass Diour Jamma district. Work was undertaken to improve the living environment such as the maintenance of sidewalks and the planting of trees. The question that arises acutely is the awareness of everyone to ensure the cleanliness of their neighbourhood and to respect public space. For this, a leaflet was distributed insisting on respecting the passage times of garbage trucks. Two similar operations will be organised twice a month within the district, according to the needs of each neighbourhood.
