International University of Casablanca: The Executive Training Pole celebrates its first graduating class

The first graduating class of the Executive Training Pole of the Faculty of Commerce and Management at the International University of Casablanca (UIC) recently received their diplomas with pomp. On this occasion, Antonio Maceda, President of the UIC, thanked the 50 graduates for their trust and highlighted "the importance of continuing education today, which allows an individual to envision not just one, but several professional careers over the course of a lifetime." Hence the importance of this pole directed by Said Benamar, who took the opportunity to specify: "We have just made a qualitative leap in the world of Executive education." Indeed, collaborative teaching and "project-based learning" are two innovative strategies that characterize the UIC's Executive programs. "We capitalize in this field on the most advanced international research in educational science. Our strategic focus is not limited to offering you a program, but to ensuring you take ownership of your learning. Beyond the symbolism of the diploma you receive, our priority concern is to transform your personal and professional behaviors so that you are capable of bringing about positive change in your respective organizations," added Mr. Benamar.

Also present was Mohammed Horani, President of HPS and sponsor of the 1st Executive MBA class. For his part, he encouraged the necessity of continuous learning throughout life and praised the will and motivation of the graduates to pursue their studies in addition to their professional and personal obligations. Mr. Horani also shared with the graduates the fundamental professional values he breaks down into "3 Cs": "Citizenship, Competence, and Courage," an engaging roadmap for the UIC's 2012 Executive Class. As a reminder, the Executive Training Pole of the UIC's Faculty of Commerce and Management has been open since October 2011 and offers Executive MBAs and specialized professional Masters.

These training programs are aimed at professionals who wish to gain leadership or specialize. The pedagogical approach is based on collaborative work, management simulations, international benchmarks, individual coaching including the MBTI personality indicator, national and international speakers, and the defense of an integrated professional project.
