Some 300 triplets took part in this sporting event, representing four countries, namely Spain, France, the Netherlands, and Senegal, in addition to 64 Moroccan clubs, including 24 from the Gharb League and 40 representing the Saiss, North-West, and Chaouia Leagues. In a statement to MAP, the president of the Stade Marocain Pétanque club, Maati Cherqaoui, noted that this sporting event, in which renowned foreign champions participated, is intended to be a real test for the Moroccan entrants to perfect their performances. This event aims to make known the sporting and tourist assets that abound in the Kingdom and to open new horizons for Moroccan players to rub shoulders with great champions and shine at the international level, he added. The closing ceremony of the edition was marked by the presentation of prizes to the winners in the presence of a large public who came en masse to support the participants.
