600 people arrested in Tiflet for various offences
Some 600 people were brought to justice by the Tiflet judicial police. Thus, 76 people were arrested for public drunkenness. More than 32 people were referred to justice for possession and consumption of narcotics. While 7 others are involved in the formation of a criminal gang.
The judicial police succeeded during this same period in arresting 31 people in cases related to prostitution and incitement to debauchery.These arrests come within the framework of the clean-up operations organised in different neighbourhoods of the city.Finally, the collaboration of citizens remains essential for the police elements to succeed in their mission.Let us recall that it was following the presentation of crime figures by the Head of Government, Abdelilah Benkirane, that things accelerated. A week after this speech, the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) announced in a statement "the arrest of 160,371 people, including 12,275 for crimes or offences and 4,096 following search notices issued against them at the national level (...), interventions that concern Casablanca, Rabat, Marrakech and Fès".
