A true architectural gem, the work of the famous Spanish architect Julio Rodriguez Roda, the former railway station of Tetouan has been transformed into a center for modern arts. The museum, a symbol of the common Hispano-Moroccan memory, is arranged in 4 spaces, a first room dedicated to the pictorial school of Tetouan, the founders and pioneers from 1913 to 1956. The second one is dedicated to the Moroccan pioneers and founders of the Moroccan pictorial identity from 1956 to 1979. The third room: dedicated to the theme of artistic openness and spring exhibitions from 1979 to 1993. Then finally, a fourth room dedicated to new trends from 1993 to today. Thus this center is an opportunity to travel through time and discover the diversity of artistic experiences and the artistic expression of contemporary art.
