Dar Riffien barracks is located 7 km from Fnideq and 20 km from Tetouan on a hill overlooking the beach. It was built in the 1920s in a South American baroque style. It is one of the oldest barracks of the Spanish legion. Abandoned in 1961, it is currently in ruins but it offers beautiful views of the mountains of Jbel Musa and the town of Fnideq.
