The internationalisation and excellence of the International University of Rabat has been following a well-engaged process since its creation in 2006. Linked by numerous inter-university collaboration agreements, it constitutes an undoubted international crossroads through which students and academics from all over the world pass, which propels it to the rank of essential references for higher education in Morocco.

The International University of Rabat prides itself on providing high-quality degree training. It welcomes highly qualified professors and offers its students the possibility of perfecting their knowledge abroad within the framework of exchange and co-tutelage programmes.

The International University of Rabat structures its training offer into streams corresponding to innovative socio-economic sectors. These streams are also based on the skills and research centres identified within the International University of Rabat.

Architecture, aeronautics, automotive, naval, space, political and legal sciences, renewable energies, IT and networks, finance, business, audit, management, and cultural industries... are all programmes provided to students to help them build a study path in phase with the needs of the national and international economic basin while allowing companies to find high-level collaborators.

Like what is done on American campuses which served as a model, the UIR campus adjoins the largest firms installed at the Technopolis city in Rabat and aims to be ultra-modern. Its vocation is to group on the same site all the training and conditions to promote the cultural, sporting, and artistic development of students, teachers, and researchers of the University.

Spanning an area of 10,200 m2, one of the two buildings is dedicated to teaching, offering a reception capacity of 1,200 students. It also houses within its walls student residences with a capacity of 850 beds. Added to this are spaces devoted to various cultural and sporting activities (sports fields, library)

That's not all. UIR is also about innovative and patented projects that are part of sustainable development. The various directed projects have once again shown the agility and innovation capacity of the International University of Rabat, thanks to state-of-the-art infrastructure. More broadly, it is the entire university scientific community represented by the scientific research centre that has been rewarded for its laudable efforts. Thus, the university has managed to accumulate no less than 14 patents in the fields of renewable energies and road safety, notably for the realisation of:
