Three individuals prosecuted for obstructing a demolition operation of illegal housing in Salé were sentenced, on Friday, to four months in prison and a fine of 500 dirhams, by the court of first instance of Salé.
The three individuals had been arrested by the police for having attempted to prevent local authorities from proceeding with the demolition of illegal housing in the "Brahma" Douar in the "Amer" commune in Salé. As part of the fight against illegal housing, local authorities have begun demolition operations of these habitats in the prefecture.
