The infrastructure of the city of Saidia (Berkane province) has been strengthened with the inauguration, recently, of a new shopping centre which required a total amount of 43 MDH.
This commercial structure, built on an area of 1.73 ha (7500 m2 covered) was built to replace the old traditional market. Thus, the centre contains 248 shops, including 190 reserved for merchants from the old market, 16 cafes and fishmongers, in addition to basic services such as toilets, green spaces, lighting, and car parking spaces.
