About Oued Laou
Oued Laou (Arabic: واد لاو, Berber: Wad Law, ⵡⴰⴷ ⵍⴰⵡ) is a small town located in northern Morocco on the Mediterranean coast. The two main cities nearby are Tetouan to the northwest and Chefchaouen at the southwest. In 2004 the town had 8,383 inhabitants.
Oued Laou is also a tourist town, in addition to being a seaside resort in summer thanks to its beach surrounded by mountains and the festivals organised during this season; its inhabitants live almost exclusively from fishing outside the tourist season.
A traditional open-air Souk takes place there every Saturday.
