Marrakech looks into health reform in Africa

The city of Marrakech will host, on the 25th and 26th of this month, the 2nd edition of the 'Afrisanté Forum', which will focus this year on a central theme concerning the issues and challenges of health sector reform on the continent.

With more than 200 professionals from Africa and the rest of the world, the Afrisanté Forum will be an opportunity for the audience to exchange on the key axes of the development of the health market and to identify the perspectives for evolution on the African continent, indicate the organisers.

Held under the theme 'Africa at the time of reforms', this edition promises to be a real B2B platform for debates and exchanges between governments, professionals and operators in the sector, funding and cooperation organisations, international experts, suppliers of solutions and equipment, as well as all stakeholders in the development of the health sector in the region.

On the programme for this conclave, held under the aegis of the Ministry of Health, are two days of debates that will also focus on the organisation of African health systems, the orientations of the sector's reform, as well as the challenges of health in Africa.

This annual and regional event for the health sector in North, West, and Central Africa will see the participation of several African Ministers of Health. According to the organisers, the Afrisanté Forum confirms the desire to continue its support for the growth and investment dynamic in the health sector in the French-speaking Africa region.
