The "Ghiwani" Festival blows out its fourth candle
Named after Mohamed Bakhti, founder and former president of the iconic group "Lamchaheb", this edition is initiated by the "Ghiwani Festival Foundation" association with the support of the Ministry of Culture and the Council of the Marrakech-Tensift-Al Haouz region. The Festival will invite the public to savour a refreshing cocktail from the Ghiwani repertoire and to appreciate at its true value the richness of this musical genre that revolutionised the Moroccan artistic scene from the seventies. During these four days, the groups Lamchaheb, Tagada, Larsad, Jil El Ghiwane Raqraq, Mesnawa, and Ennassim, as well as popular troupes from the region, will take turns on the stage of "Dar Takafa" in Daoudiate.
