The NGO Operation Smile Morocco is planning a new series of reconstructive surgeries for children in the ochre city. Indeed, under the Honorary Presidency of H.R.H. Princess Lalla Meryem and in partnership with the Ministry of Health, the El Antaki Hospital in Marrakech will host a surgical mission led by the association from 18 to 27 April. Thus, with the voluntary support of a "highly qualified" Moroccan and international medical team composed of surgeons, anaesthetists, paediatricians, dentists, speech therapists, nurses, as well as administrators and non-medical staff, children and young adults suffering from facial malformations will benefit from surgical medical care and free follow-up. "The care that will be given to children requires the mobility of a team of highly qualified volunteer professionals, approved by Operation Smile International," specifies the NGO, which calls on those interested to register at the hospital on the 18th and 19th of the current month. Operation Smile is a pioneering association in reconstructive surgery, which aims to improve the health and lives of children in many countries around the world by correcting their facial malformations.
