A double crime solved
The prefectural service of the judicial police of Laayoune was able to solve the mystery surrounding the disappearance of a young civil servant.
After a period of suspense that lasted more than ten days, the sleuths of the judicial police were able to solve the case of the disappearance of the young Sahrawi civil servant Hamdi Tarfaoui since Friday, May 18, in dubious circumstances. This gave rise to a series of rumours throughout these last few days at the level of the city of Laayoune. A communiqué made public last Wednesday by the public prosecutor at the Court of Appeal of Laayoune affirmed that the young Hamdi Tarfaoui was "the victim of a murder". The alleged murderer mutilated his body, before taking it to his home and burying it in the patio. The prefectural service of the judicial police of Laayoune had stressed that the investigation conducted by the police services, supported by experts from the scientific and technical police, showed that the victim had been strangled inside a room he was renting with his executioner…
