The second National Forum of the Creative Woman will be held from 16 to 18 October in Guercif. This forum, which comes in celebration of the National Day of the Moroccan Woman (10 October), is intended as a contribution of the "Tasmunt Urtan" Association of Guercif to the influence of cultural and artistic activity, particularly of the creative woman, to the valorisation of the role of the Moroccan woman, notably Amazigh, in the process of sustainable human development, to the rooting of gender equality in accordance with the new Constitution, and to the fight against images and stereotypes tending to marginalise women. Initiated with the support of the Royal Institute of Amazigh Culture, the Agency for the Development of the Prefectures and Provinces of the North, the province and the urban commune of Guercif, and the Adrar-Guercif Association, this event aims to make female creativity known, to valorise women through artistic creation, to root the values of gender equality, and to popularise female manufactured and artisanal products for their commercialisation. This event will include several cultural, artistic, and intellectual activities including conferences on the image of women in the media, the female contribution to Berber arts between artistic beauty and social values, the realities and perspectives of female creativity in the cinema sector, the making of artisanal products by the mountain woman (Jablia), women and literary creation, and the role of women in the preservation of the Berber dimension through art.
