The organisation of this event aims to highlight the civilisational and historical diversity of the Aït-Messaoud tribe and the population of Tighmert, as well as to encourage the local tourism product. The festival also represents a space for cultural exchange, showcasing the richness of the local heritage (both Amazigh and Hassani), and a gathering of the various Sahrawi tribes.
