Guelmim will be endowed with its Oasis d'Or

The city of Guelmim had an appointment with the laying of the first stone for the construction of the Oasis d'Or project, which will have positive effects on the region's economy and will constitute a strong added value in terms of promoting the local tourist product. The kick-off for the construction work on this flagship project for the Guelmim-Smara region was given last Friday by the new Wali of the region, Omar Elhadrami, accompanied by an official delegation composed of elected officials and heads of external services. This project, which chose the rural commune of Abayno as its site against a total investment of 130 million dirhams, is expected to generate more than 120 direct jobs and 500 indirect jobs.
