Under the supervision of the Guelmim-Smara Wilaya, the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, elected councils, and the Southern Agency, the Sahara Football League is organising the first edition of the "Bab Sahara Cup" tournament in the city of Guelmim.

The tournament, scheduled from 20 to 22 June, will feature the participation of stars from the 1986 and 1998 national teams, a team of artists and journalists, and a team of veterans from the pearl of the Sahara, Guelmim. Alongside this tournament, a national conference will be held under the theme: "Sport in the Sahara: realities and infrastructure perspectives, the city of Guelmim as a model". This conference will be moderated by a group of journalists, officials, and local stakeholders.

On the occasion of this event, a training centre for referees will be inaugurated. The closing ceremony will be marked by a grand evening featuring stars and champions from the region.
