The wali of the Guelmim-Smara region presided over a ceremony organised by the MEN delegation of Guelmim honouring the students who obtained the best results during the school year that has just ended. This year which, according to the provincial delegate, Aidda Bouguenine, was characterised by the importance of the results obtained at all levels and particularly that of the baccalaureate exams. The delegate indicated that it was also marked by transparency and rigour at the level of exam supervision, thus avoiding the cheating that has always tainted the tests.
Congratulating himself on the results obtained thanks to the efforts made by local education executives and the support provided by local authorities, the regional academy, and elected councils, Bouguenine emphasised that the various partners hope to improve the level of education in the province. He wished that the awarded students would be an example for their comrades.
For his part, the president of the "From success to excellence" Association, Abdou Essallami, enumerated in a speech the achievements accomplished by the association, particularly those concerning the encouragement of student excellence and the support provided to the educational sector.
It should be noted that the ceremony took place at the headquarters of the Guelmim-Smara Regional Council under the chairmanship of the wali of the region surrounded by representatives of civil and military authorities, elected officials, representatives of civil society, and associations of parents and guardians of students.
