The National Security of Essaouira draws up its report

As part of a communication exercise with the press in Essaouira, the National Security has just drawn up the report of its activities during the first quarter of 2014. To this end, the security services identified 2,074 people, arrested 100 others who were the subject of search notices, carried out 1,053 procedures and referred 1,309 individuals to justice. Concerning cases of attacks on persons and property, the National Security services were able to resolve 13 cases for the formation of criminal gangs, 33 cases for theft, 6 cases for physical assault, 606 cases for disturbances in a state of drunkenness, and 387 other cases. For the fight against the use and trafficking of narcotics, the services concerned resolved 224 cases, including 41 for drug trafficking and 165 others for possession and consumption of narcotics.
