Tuesday, May 8, 2012, a mokaddem was found dead in the garage of his house in the Skala district in Essaouira.

According to confirmed sources, it is a new recruit working in the second district of the Skala neighbourhood. His corpse, bearing injuries to the face, was discovered in the morning in his garage.

According to health sources, the mokaddem had succumbed to an epileptic seizure before falling violently on his face and sinking, bloodied, into a deep coma.

An investigation has been opened to define the causes of this tragic end, while the corpse has been transported to the forensic medicine department at the CHP Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdellah in Essaouira.
