QR codes debated: Urban Agencies in the era of communication

QR codes debated: Urban Agencies in the era of communication

On the basis of Article 27 of the new Constitution, which stipulates the right of citizens to access information from public administrations, elected councils and bodies responsible for the management of public affairs, the Urban Agency of Essaouira has just initiated a colloquium bringing together the various urban agencies of Morocco, gathered in conclave to debate QR codes. A new technique adopted in the first instance by the Essaouira agency, which aims to multiply its experience on a national scale with a view to allowing citizens to benefit from its local service, the flexibility of its procedures, its transparency as well as the modernisation of work tools. This free, simple, direct, fast and innovative technique, which was invented in Japan in 1994, will allow customers of the Moroccan telephone network to use QR codes and thus access administrative information relating to their own files, as well as various publications (results of commissions for large and small projects, calls for tenders, publications, telephone numbers, email addresses).
