Upon disembarking from the plane at Dakhla airport, H.M. the King reviewed a detachment of the Royal Guard that paid honours, before being greeted by the Wali of the Dakhla-Oued Eddahab region, Governor of the Oued Eddahab province, Lamine Benomar, and the President of the Dakhla-Oued Eddahab Regional Council, Ynja Khattat.
H.M. the King was also greeted by the Governor of the Aousserd province, the delegated Commander of the Dakhla garrison, the President of the Oued Eddahab provincial council, the President of the Dakhla communal council, the President of the Aousserd provincial council, representatives of the judiciary, the President of the local Ulema council, representatives of the civil and military authorities of the Wilaya, as well as by notables of the region.
The inhabitants of the city gave a most enthusiastic and warm welcome to H.M. the King. Thousands of citizens gathered all along the route taken by the royal procession from the airport to the Sovereign's residence to reaffirm their unwavering attachment to the august person of His Majesty the King.
The Sovereign made a point of greeting the citizens who came in large numbers, on this memorable day, to reiterate their marks of loyalty and allegiance to His Majesty and to the glorious Alaouite Throne.
It was in an atmosphere of communion that the inhabitants of Dakhla chanted in unison cheers for H.M. the King, Amir Al Mouminine, expressing their deep gratitude to the Sovereign for this blessed visit which constitutes a new stage on the path of the region's development.
