Environmental concern established as a priority

Work on the second phase of the project to create a green belt at the northern entrance of the city of Dakhla is currently in full swing. Planned over an area of 80 ha, the project to create the green belt in Dakhla is being carried out as part of a partnership between the High Commission for Water and Forests and the Fight against Desertification, the regional, provincial, and municipal councils of Dakhla, and the Agency for the Promotion and Development of the Southern Provinces.
