Details

The Talassemtane National Park was inscribed on the UNESCO natural heritage list in 1998. It is distinguished by its diversity and the beauty of its landscapes. The cultural resources, combined with the natural potentialities, offer to the National park of Talassemtane an ecotouristic potential of national and Mediterranean importance. It is officially part of the Mediterranean transcontinental biosphere reserve. A hike in the park can take several days, and the ascent to Jbel El Kasaa requires one day, but the view from the top of the mountain is really worth the trip!
