The overall budget allocated to the implementation of the urban development project for the city of Béni-Mellal for the 2011-2013 period reached one billion dirhams.

Intended to establish the city as an economic and tourist hub capable of attracting major investments and creating jobs for the region's youth, these funds are divided between studies (27 MDH), infrastructure (441 MDH), urban planning, land use and housing (158 MDH), environment and sustainable development (175 MDH), social development (108 MDH) and local economy and territorial competitiveness (86 MDH).
