Launch of several projects in mountainous communes

These projects are part of the proximity policy, the support for the action of communal councils for the promotion of development at the local level, and the strengthening of decentralisation and good governance.

At Douar Tangarf (Boutfrda commune), the Wali laid the foundation stone for the construction of a boarding school for a communal school, for more than 6.5 million DH, financed by the Regional Academy of Education and Training of the Tadla-Azilal region.

In the same commune, the Wali laid the foundation stone for the construction of a rural hospital that will benefit nearly 3,700 inhabitants of five douars for a cost of around 800,000 DH, financed by the Ministry of Health. In the Tzoukat commune, the Wali gave the go-ahead for the construction of an 11.5 km road between Tangarf and Taghazout and the development of the road linking Tzoukat AĂŻt Rbaa and Taghazout (9 km).

These two projects, the cost of which is estimated at more than 22 million DH, are financed by the Tadla-Azilal Regional Council and aim to open up this region.

In the same commune, the Wali inquired about the project to connect the douars of Tzoukat and Taghazout (Boutfrda commune) to the electricity network, through the creation of a medium-voltage network 12 km long and a low-voltage network 15 km long.

This project, estimated at nearly 6 million DH, will be financed by the National Office of Electricity, the commune, and the beneficiaries.

In the Aghbala rural commune, the Wali gave the go-ahead for the construction of a boarding school for the Sidi Amer Ouheli high school, with a capacity to accommodate 120 students.

This project, which aims to fight against school dropout, is estimated at more than 9 million DH, financed by the Regional Academy of Education and Training.

In the same commune, the Wali inaugurated the headquarters of the multidisciplinary social centre, built and equipped by the Wilaya of the Tadla-Azilal region as part of the National Initiative for Human Development for a cost estimated at more than 2.68 million DH. This project, which will benefit 100 people, aims in particular to develop the capacities of young people, fight against illiteracy, and allow people with specific needs to benefit from physiotherapy sessions.

The Wali also inquired about the liquid sanitation project for the Aghbala centre, the cost of which amounts to 7 million DH.

He also laid the foundation stone for the construction of a health centre and a maternity ward at the Aghbala centre, for a cost of around 1.377 million DH, financed by the Ministry of Health. In the Tizi Nissli commune, the Wali laid the foundation stone for the construction of a community school, the cost of which is estimated at more than 12 million DH.
