The president of the Ait Daoued commune prosecuted for squandering public funds

Inflated invoices, fictitious expenses, financial management errors, cronyism and favouritism in the granting of subsidies to associations, premeditated waste of the commune's financial resources, monopoly of the commune's supplies by three suppliers, and a total of 388,097.50 dirhams as unjustified expenses just for the second half of 2009 and 2010.These are the conclusions of the expert sworn before the Safi Court of Appeal, tasked by the King's Prosecutor General under order n°95/c/10 dated 30/05/2011 to audit the financial management of the Ait Daoued commune in Haha, in the province of Essaouira.
