A wave of nostalgia blew over the Grand Stade d'Agadir

It was an evening worthy of the 1998 African Footballer of the Year, Mustapha Hadji, nearly a decade after he hung up his boots. Surrounded by his friends and some great football stars, such as Ronaldinho, Khalid Badra, Jamal Limam… a very beautiful tribute was paid to the magician of the Atlas Lions of the 90s.

Many players who formed the backbone of the 1994 and 1998 national team met on Saturday at the Grand Stade d'Agadir to celebrate Mustapha Hadji's jubilee. All in a friendly and good-humoured atmosphere. During this jubilee, the 1994 and 98 national team was pitted against the All Stars team of Hadji's friends, led by the Brazilian star Ronaldinho.

This match, which ended with a score of 4-2 in favour of Hadji's friends' team, was above all an opportunity for a reunion between these former champions who gave so much to national football. There were therefore on the pitch Saïb Chiba, Tahar Lakhlej, Salah Eddine Bassir, Ahmed Bahja, Hassan Kacheloul, Noureddine Naybet, etc. On the pitch, there were many hugs and smiles. A real festive atmosphere to say thank you to Hadji who left his mark on Moroccan football.
