A dam filling rate of more than 88.52%
The reserves of the main dams in the Marrakech-Safi region reached 143.17 million m3 as of 10 June 2016, thus recording a filling rate of more than 88.52%.This level is lower compared to the same period of the previous year (152.1 million m3, more than 90.47%), according to the daily situation of the dams, published on the website of the Minister Delegate in charge of Water.Thus, an increase in filling rates was observed mainly at the S. M'Hamed Ben Slimane Jazouli dam, which went from 78.7% on 10 June 2015 to 86.8% on the same day in 2016, and at the Abou El Abbas Essabti dam (from 97.4% to 97.9%).The Department notes, however, a decrease in water reserves in the Lalla Takerkoust dam (which went from 87.3% to 79.9%) and at the level of the Yaakoub Mansour dam where the filling rate went from 98.5% to 89.5%, the ministry specifies.The reserves of the Kingdom's main dams, for all uses co…
