The Regional Academy of Education and Training (AREF) of Drâa-Tafilalet has adopted the "Intranet" technique, a first of its kind at the national level, for reliable and efficient entry of baccalaureate exam grades for the 2015-2016 school year.

This new technique aims at entering grades via "Intranet" as a proximity mechanism facilitating the task for correcting teachers, administrative staff of exam centres and presidents of exam centres to directly enter the candidates' grades after the correction of the papers, it is indicated by the Academy.

The operation of entering grades via "Intranet" constitutes a reliable, precise and meticulous tool that does not involve any margin of error, since the correction of the papers goes through 4 control stages, starting with the correcting teacher, the administrative staff, or the centre president who takes charge of the entry and control of the grades himself, passing through a local commission at the level of the correction centres, then in 3rd place by the regional commission for grade entry at the regional exam centre, before ending in the 4th and final stage at the commission in charge of deliberations.

Initiated by the regional services of the AREF, this innovative initiative, announced by the director of the AREF Drâa-Tafilalet, Ali Berrad, upon his installation last February, aims to meet the challenge of the optimal conduct of the exam correction operation, with convincing results, despite certain shortcomings in terms of human resources and logistical and financial support.

As of this Wednesday morning, a total of 129,334 exam grades had been entered via Intranet (i.e., 97% of the grades), which reflects the accelerated, reliable and meticulous pace of the first experience of this process.

The operation of correcting the papers for the ordinary session of the unified national baccalaureate exam (June 2016) began last Friday in the five provincial directorates of the region, mobilising more than 2,000 correctors distributed across 29 correction centres in the Drâa-Tafilalet region.

Some 397 commissions in charge of monitoring the correction operations have been established, in order to ensure the correction of the copies within the allotted time and to decide on cases of fraud committed during the correction.
