As part of its daily monitoring of the performance of authority agents and its concern to ensure compliance with the ethical rules governing public service, the Ministry of the Interior has suspended a Caïd in the province of Midelt against the backdrop of the opening of a judicial investigation, under the supervision of the competent prosecutor's office, for his alleged involvement in a corruption case.
In a statement, the Ministry of the Interior specifies that the appropriate administrative procedures will be applied against the person concerned, in accordance with the laws and regulations in force, in light of the results of the investigations and the judicial procedure.
