The Casablanca Stock Exchange opened on a positive note on Wednesday, its main index, the MASI, gaining 0.12% to 15,932.52 points (pts).
The MASI 20, which includes the 20 most liquid stocks, rose by 0.1% to 1,288.74 pts, while the MASI ESG, an index of companies with the best ESG rating published by Moody’s ESG Solutions, fell by 0.16% to 1,114.12 pts.
The MASI Mid and Small Cap, which measures the performance of listed small and medium-sized companies, gained 0.73% to 1,676.51 pts.
Among individual stocks, Maghreb Oxygène (+9.93% to 379 DH), Delta Holding (+4.09% to 75 DH), CIH (+2.18% to 459.8 DH), SMI (+2.18% to 2,299 DH) and Risma (+2.17% to 283 DH) achieved the best performances.
On the other hand, the biggest drops were recorded by Fenie Brossette (-1.52% to 123.1 DH), Disty Technologies (-1.05% to 305.5 DH), Mutandis (-0.82% to 326.3 DH), Bank of Africa (-0.77% to 205.9 DH) and Sanlam Maroc (-0.56% to 1,790 DH).
The previous day, the MASI had closed with a gain of 0.17%.
