The Casablanca Stock Exchange started its trading close to equilibrium on Monday, its main index, the MASI, retreating by 0.01% to 16,020.04 points (pts).
Shortly after the opening, the MASI 20, which groups the 20 most liquid values, and the MASI ESG, an index of companies with the best ESG rating published by Moody’s ESG Solutions, were retreating, respectively, by 0.06% to 1,299.58 pts and 0.11% to 1,116.5 pts.
Counter-trend, the MASI Mid and Small Cap, which evaluates the performance of listed small and medium-sized enterprises, was gaining 0.37% to 1,673.22 pts. On Friday, the MASI had closed on a loss of 0.37%.
