The Casablanca Stock Exchange started trading in the green on Thursday, with its main index, the MASI, rising by 0.61% to 15,819.79 points (pts).
The MASI 20, which includes the 20 most liquid stocks, gained 0.66% to 1,281.83 pts, while the MASI ESG, an index of companies with the best ESG rating published by Moody's ESG Solutions, advanced by 0.52% to 1,102.18 pts.
For its part, the MASI Mid and Small Cap, measuring the performance of small and medium-sized companies listed on the Casablanca Stock Exchange, rose by 0.83% to 1,661.51 pts.
Among individual stocks, Résidences Dar Saada (+7.1% to 96 dirhams (DH)), Stroc Industrie (+6.34% to 46.79 DH), Auto Hall (+4.78% to 68 DH), S.M Monétique (+3.64% to 285 DH), and Lesieur Cristal (+3.6% to 285 DH) achieved the best performances.
Conversely, Involys (-4.07% to 97.66 DH), CTM (-3.95% to 1,190 DH), TotalEnergies Marketing Maroc (-3.34% to 1,477 DH), Colorado (-3.32% to 58.57 DH), and CDM (-1.8% to 981 DH) recorded the sharpest declines.
On Wednesday, the MASI closed with a gain of 1.25%.
