The Casablanca Stock Exchange started on a positive note on Tuesday, its main index, the MASI, progressing by 0.25% to 16,008.23 points (pts).
Shortly after the opening, the MASI 20, which includes the 20 most liquid stocks, and the MASI ESG, an index of companies with the best ESG rating published by Moody’s ESG Solutions, advanced by 0.28% to 1,298.35 pts and 0.35% to 1,118.84 pts, respectively.
Against the trend, the MASI Mid and Small Cap, which evaluates the performance of listed small and medium-sized enterprises, fell by 0.04% to 1,674.99 pts. On the stock front, the sharpest declines were recorded by Résidences Dar Saada (-4.1% to 114.6 DH), Maghreb Oxygène (-3.97% to 265.05 DH), Cartier Saada (-3.26% to 33.86 DH), Colorado (-1.67% to 58.9 DH), and Cdm (-1.52% to 1,034 DH).
Conversely, S.M Monétique (+6.3% to 349.5 DH), Delta Holding (+4.62% to 68 DH), M2M Group (+4.5% to 543.4 DH), Stroc Industrie (+4.04% to 48.9 DH), and Taqa Morocco (+3.11% to 1,424 DH) achieved the best performances.
On Monday, the MASI had closed with a loss of 0.33%.
