The Casablanca Stock Exchange began its trading in the green on Friday, with its main index, the MASI, rising by 0.4% to 15,909.7 points (pts).
The MASI 20, grouping the 20 most liquid stocks, gained 0.47% to 1,291.10 pts, while the MASI ESG, an index of companies with the best ESG rating published by Moody's ESG Solutions, advanced by 0.7% to 1,109.67 pts.
For its part, the MASI Mid and Small Cap, measuring the performance of small and medium-sized enterprises listed on the Casablanca Stock Exchange, gained 0.64% to 1,663.85 pts.
In terms of individual stocks, Med Paper (+9.95% to 23.09 dirhams (DH)), Delta Holding (+9.78% to 68.5 DH), Stroc Industrie (+7.95% to 47.5 DH), Fenie Brossette (+6.14% to 121 DH), and Zellidja S.A (+5.56% to 133 DH) achieved the best performances.
Conversely, CTM (-6.38% to 1,160 DH), Oulmès (-5.94% to 1,299 DH), Sonasid (-5.61% to 1,128 DH), Ennakl (-3.25% to 34.83 DH), and BMCI (-3.02% to 640 DH) recorded the sharpest declines.
On Thursday, the MASI had closed with a gain of 0.78%.
