The Casablanca Stock Exchange closes in the green

The Casablanca Stock Exchange closed higher on Monday, with its main index, the MASI, rising by 0.28% to 15,559.07 points (pts).
The MASI 20, an index comprising the 20 most liquid stocks, advanced by 0.19% to 1,260.23 pts and the MASI ESG, an index of companies with the best ESG rating published by Moody’s ESG Solutions, gained 0.5% to 1,083.16 pts.
Similarly, the MASI Mid and Small Cap, which measures the performance of small and medium-sized enterprises listed on the Casablanca Stock Exchange, gained 0.82% to 1,625.63 pts.
Internationally, the FTSE CSE Morocco 15 and FTSE CSE Morocco All-Liquid indices strengthened by 0.4% to 14,478.52 pts and 0.41% to 13,110.3 pts, respectively.
At the sectoral level, the "Transport" index (+9.94%) recorded the strongest increase, followed by the "Chemicals" (+5.09%) and "Portfolio-Holding Companies" (+4.54%) indices.
