The Casablanca Stock Exchange opened on a positive note on Wednesday, with its main index, the MASI, gaining 0.12% to 15,932.52 points (pts).
The MASI 20, which includes the 20 most liquid stocks, rose by 0.1% to 1,288.74 pts, while the MASI ESG, an index of companies with the best ESG rating published by Moody's ESG Solutions, fell by 0.16% to 1,114.12 pts.
The MASI Mid and Small Cap, which measures the performance of listed small and medium-sized enterprises, gained 0.73% to 1,676.51 pts.
Individual stocks such as Maghreb Oxygène (+9.93% at 379 DH), Delta Holding (+4.09% at 75 DH), CIH (+2.18% at 459.8 DH), SMI (+2.18% at 2,299 DH), and Risma (+2.17% at 283 DH) showed the best performances.
Conversely, the biggest drops were recorded by Fenie Brossette (-1.52% at 123.1 DH), Disty Technologies (-1.05% at 305.5 DH), Mutandis (-0.82% at 326.3 DH), Bank of Africa (-0.77% at 205.9 DH), and Sanlam Maroc (-0.56% at 1,790 DH).
The previous day, the MASI closed with a gain of 0.17%.
