The Casablanca Stock Exchange opened its trading higher on Thursday, with its main index, the MASI, rising by 0.29% to 16,126.29 points (pts).
The MASI 20, grouping the 20 most liquid stocks, gained 0.30% to settle at 1,309.92 pts, while the MASI ESG, an index of companies with the best ESG rating published by Moody's ESG Solutions, advanced by 0.24% to 1,128.32 pts.
For its part, the MASI Mid and Small Cap, measuring the performance of listed small and medium-sized enterprises, recorded an increase of 0.37% to 1,658.66 pts.
In individual stocks, Realisation Mecaniques (+9.23% to 497 DH), SMI (+8.02% to 2,129 DH), Fenie Brossette (+4.87% to 139 DH), TotalEnergies Marketing Maroc (+4.23% to 1,600 DH), and Residences Dar Saada (+2.35% to 97 DH) achieved the best performances.
Conversely, IB Maroc.com (-6.26% to 32.80 DH), CTM (-4.03% to 1,118 DH), Ennakl (-2.00% to 34.30 DH), CDM (-1.82% to 1,026 DH), and Managem (-1.73% to 3,400 DH) recorded the sharpest declines.
On Wednesday, the MASI had closed with a gain of 1.05%.
