The Casablanca Stock Exchange started higher on Monday, its main index, the MASI, rising by 0.05% to 15,883.39 points (pts).
The MASI 20, grouping the 20 most liquid stocks, gained 0.11% to 1,289.33 pts and the MASI ESG, an index of companies with the best ESG rating published by Moody's ESG Solutions, advanced by 0.07% to 1,111.99 pts.
For its part, the MASI Mid and Small Cap, measuring the performance of small and medium-sized enterprises listed on the Casablanca Stock Exchange, gained 0.57% to 1,653.38 pts.
In individual stocks, Stroc Industrie (+7.18% to 49.89 DH), CFG Bank (+3.64% to 238.9 DH), Mutandis SCA (+3.09% to 330 DH), Med Paper (+3.07% to 23.5 DH) and Alliances (+1.35% to 525 DH) achieved the best performances.
Conversely, Managem (-2.92% to 3,262 DH), Jet Contractors (-2.73% to 2,140 DH), Ennakl (-2.71% to 34.05 DH), Delta Holding (-2.09% to 65.6 DH) and Taqa Morocco (-1.88% to 1,412 DH) recorded the sharpest declines.
On Friday, the MASI had ended with a gain of 0.19%.
