The Casablanca Stock Exchange opened on a positive note on Friday, with its main index, the MASI, rising by 0.12% to 14,672.75 points (pts).
The MASI.20, which includes the 20 most liquid stocks, was up 0.21% at 1,186.61 pts and the MASI ESG, an index of companies with the best ESG rating published by Moody's ESG Solutions, gained 0.25% to 1,037.46 pts.
On the other hand, the MASI Mid and Small Cap, a thematic index measuring the performance of small and medium-sized companies listed on the Casablanca Stock Exchange, fell by 0.09% to 1,491.98 pts.
Among individual stocks, CTM (+8.38% to 894 DH), Ib Maroc.com (+2.76% to 34.94 DH), Cosumar (+2.15% to 190 DH), CFG Bank (+2.09% to 219.5 DH) and TGCC (+1.68% to 474.95 DH) were the best performers.
Conversely, the biggest drops were recorded by Mutandis (-2.32% to 295 DH), Sothema (-2.27% to 924.5 DH), Wafa Assurance (-2.18% to 4,400 DH), Risma (-1.53% to 225 DH) and Attijariwafa Bank (-0.44% to 567.5 DH).
The previous day, the MASI had closed with a gain of 0.3%.
